Quality Improvement Capstone Project Simulation
Our Capstone Project Simulation is designed for teams who don't have access to a real-life project after training. It's a rigorous quality improvement event where you'll use the step-by-step DMAIC methodology to solve a familiar problem. During the simulation, you'll work in a learning team and be guided through e-Learning by our Quality Coach. Everything you need for the project is available online, including templates, tutorials, simulations, and data sets. The Capstone Project Simulation can be completed in one, three, or four-day sessions, depending on the LSS Belt course. It's a great opportunity to apply the skills and tools you've learned in the Lean Six Sigma courses.
- You'll get to use the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control methodology in a real-world situation, helping you understand Quality Improvement better.
- You'll also be able to identify the root cause of the problem, simulate options, and test potential solutions for improvement and implementation.
- Additionally, you'll get to utilize LSS tools in a demanding setting to effectively solve a problem and sustain the gains made through continuous improvement.
- Lastly, you'll work in a team environment, just like most QI projects, and your success will be measured and reported, including a final assessment.
